Alessio is an osteopath that specialises in treating musculo-skeletal pain and movement dysfunction in humans as well as domestic animals, mainly horses and dogs. Thanks to his dedication and hard work, Alessio has achieved three times gold winner for “Best Osteopath” by the prestigious Expat Living – Reader’s Choice Awards.

Alessio achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in the UK, and trained as an osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy in London, where he graduated in 2009  .  Since then, Alessio has established and run successful osteopathic clinics in London and Hong Kong, where he co-founded the Hong Kong Osteopathic Association.  Having been exposed to the prominent horse racing culture of Hong Kong, Alessio rediscovered his childhood passion for horses and in 2018 went on to train in Animal Osteopathy with the Osteopathic Centre for Animals, the world leading institute for this specialty.

Alessio’s approach is a unique blend of Classical Structural Osteopathy, Biodynamics and Cranial Osteopathy, Dry Needling and Functional Rehabilitation.  In addition to common musculo-skeletal pain and dysfunctions Alessio has a strong interest in the treatment of systemic medical conditions and constitutional diseases by helping to restore the balance between the structure and function of the body and enhance natural healing mechanisms.  Evaluation and treatment are personalised to each individual patient and benefit people in all stages of life, from newborns to the elderly.

Alessio regularly travels to Singapore and other Asian cities to provide osteopathic services for both humans and animals. He is part of the teaching faculty of the London College of Animal Osteopathy and lectures at masterclasses around the world.
