Many people find that even though you get away, change your scenery, do less, and even disconnect, it can be difficult to let go of the “working mind/body”. There are many ways to recharge your battery. TRE® is an easy and effective method to purposefully relax your body on a deeper level, calming down your nervous system. In a way, you are recharging and rebooting in one go. I discovered TRE® a few years ago when I was looking for something to help my clients and myself relax and “let go”. Most relaxation techniques work on the superficial level, however, TRE® loosens up the body, realigning it to create better symmetry in the muscular and skeletal system healing itself from chronic stress and tension.
I was raised to be “active” – do, do and then do some more! We were a busy family and downtime was not something we explored much. As a result, recharging and relaxing was difficult and something I had to learn to do. In the past, I thought it was a waste of time, and I would feel guilty if I took time out.
What stupid behavior! In order to lead a healthy, productive and fulfilling life, I have learned to check my “battery level”. If it needs more energy, I respond as I do with my phone: I charge up.

Personally, TRE® has helped me reconnect with my body. I have learned to check-in with myself. Am I running low? Am I tense? Tight? Do I need to recharge? In addition to giving me greater mental and physical stability, I feel more energized and resilient.
TRE® consist of a series of 7 exercises that triggers your natural release mechanism of shaking, assisting the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. When we activate TRE® (small vibrations, quivering, shaking, swaying or undulations of the body) in a safe environment, the body is encouraged to return to a state of balance. The exercises are simple and easy to learn. Most people find it soothing and leave sessions with a calm yet alert mind and body.
TRE® is taught in a series of 6 sessions individually or in a group. You will learn to initiate, become familiar with, observe, and manage your body’s own natural self-healing process.
